Meimei Yang is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Toronto, in pursuit of creating authentically and making exceptionally.
Across disciplines & typologies, her practice is informed by a penchant for investigation in heritage, sustainability, technology, and storytelling – honing thoughtfully compelling narratives, and crafting (fun)ctional, considered spaces.
Prior to studying Interior Design at Toronto Metropolitan University (previously Ryerson University), Meimei held deep roots in fine art; Her affinity for drawing and painting, at a young age, earning her several art awards and achievements between China and Canada. Today, her work interfaces between art, product, interiors, architecture, film, and animation.
