"Play To Power (A Generation)" empowers children to drive cultural change towards solving the climate crisis by turning renewable energy into entertainment. The playground serves as a fun learning environment where kids discover the link between energy production, consumption, and their role in sustainability.
Made from recycled materials, the playground equipment embodies the circular economy concept. The central pavilion collects snow in winter for insulation and filters sunlight in summer. An underground system channels electricity generated by play activities like sliding and seesawing, lighting up the pavilion and equipment. Through play, children generate energy and learn firsthand the potential of clean, renewable sources.
